THE CRAFTSMANSHIP AND MATERIALS THAT MAKE OUR CHRONOGRAPHS STAND OUT
The movement is the heart of any watch. For our Chronographs we use the premium quality Swiss Ronda 5030D movement which is famous for its exceptional accuracy and durability. Our Chronographs will definitely be a reliable companion for many years to come.
The gorgeous black watch strap is the world’s first Biokreis certified organic leather watch strap. The vegetable-tanned cow leather with natural grain pattern has a beautiful rich and supple touch which will feel amazing right from the first wear.
Kept in a clean black-white colour scheme, the watch pays homage to the minimal Bauhaus movement and embodies timeless understated luxury. In combination with the beautiful black pebble leather strap, the Three-Hand Watch with date complication is the perfect choice no matter the occasion.
For every single order, we plant one tree with our partner On A Mission and remove 80 plastic bottles from our beloved Oceans with our partner Empower. We are very proud to be a climate-positive and plastic-positive Company. All of our watches are packaged completely free of any virgin plastics in a beautiful black watch box. Every product has a footprint. We do everything in our power to make sure it’s a positive one.

Why are you displaying your production costs?
We all know that fashion brands heavily mark-up their prices. The traditional mark-up is 5-6 times. The mark-up for luxury brands can even be 10-15 times. They can do so, because we as consumers don't know the actual production price. We firmly believe that you have a right to know. That is the only way to empower you to make more informed and better purchasing positions. You can find the exact price-breakdown for each product in the “What it costs” section.
How do you calculate the traditional retail price?
This is how the fashion industry works traditionally:
Production Price x 2 - 2,5 (on average) = Wholesale Price
Wholesale Price x 2 - 2,5 (on average) = Traditional Retail Price
Take one of our Low-Top Sneakers for example. The Production Price is 74,30€.
Wholesale Price: 74,30€ x 2 = 148,60€
Traditional Retail Price: 148,60€ x 2,36 = 350,00€
Dalgado Price: 74,30 x 3,03 = 225,00€
We cut out the middle man, sell directly to you and pass the savings on to you. Our average mark-up is 3 times.
Why is transparency so important to you?
The fashion industry is notoriously opaque and deceiving. As a consumer you get hardly any reliable information on the actual origin of the materials and manufacturing conditions. We firmly believe the industry is fundamentally flawed. You have every right to know exactly what you are buying. That is why we reveal exactly where our products are made, what they are made of, and what they cost.
What does climate positive & plastic positive mean?
There is only one Earth and it is our responsibility to take care of it. Yet, regardless of how environmentally-friendly our materials and production processes are, every product has an ecological footprint. We do everything in our power to make sure it’s a positive one. For every single order, we plant one tree with our partner On A Mission and remove 1kg of plastic from our beloved Oceans with our partner Empower.
Being climate positive means that we as a Company go beyond achieving net zero carbon emissions and actually create an environmental benefit by removing additional carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Being plastic positive means that we as a Company remove more plastic from the oceans than is created during our entire production.
