Only very special leathers are suitable for dress gloves as the requirements are very stringent. They need to be thin and flexible yet warm and durable. Lambskin is one of those rare leathers. It is incredibly supple yet durable; the perfect combination for dress gloves. With proper care, the gloves will last for many years to come; maybe even for generations.
The process of crafting a single pair of our cashmere-lined lambskin gloves is extremely intricate and complex. It takes the collaboration of 15 master glove makers and seamstresses, 18 individual production steps, and over 2,000 stitches to turn the raw materials into a finished pair of gloves; a true gem of Italian handicraft.
For every single order, we plant one tree with our partner On A Mission and remove 80 plastic bottles from our beloved Oceans with our partner Empower. We are very proud to be a climate-positive and plastic-positive Company. All of our gloves are packaged completely plastic-free in a beautiful black glove box made of FSC certified paper. Every product has a footprint. We do everything in our power to make sure it’s a positive one.

Which materials are your gloves made of?
Our gloves are handmade of luxurious Peccary and Carpincho leather, deer- and lambskin, and extremely fine 100% Mongolian Cashmere. To learn exactly what our gloves are made of, take a look at the “What it’s made of” section on the product page.
How do I find my glove size?
The most accurate way to find your glove size is to follow these simple steps:
1) Measure your bigger hand (usually your writing hand) at its widest point excluding the thumb with a flexible measuring tape. That is your hand circumference.
2) Check in our size chart which glove size corresponds to your hand circumference.
3) In case your hand circumference should fall between two sizes, we recommend rounding off to the nearest half or full size as the leather will stretch out with time and use.

What does the glove warranty include?

Why are you displaying your production costs?
We all know that fashion brands heavily mark-up their prices. The traditional mark-up is 5-6 times. The mark-up for luxury brands can even be 10-15 times. They can do so, because we as consumers don't know the actual production price. We firmly believe that you have a right to know. That is the only way to empower you to make more informed and better purchasing positions. You can find the exact price-breakdown for each product in the “What it costs” section.
How do you calculate the traditional retail price?
This is how the fashion industry works traditionally:
Production Price x 2 - 2,5 (on average) = Wholesale Price
Wholesale Price x 2 - 2,5 (on average) = Traditional Retail Price
Take one of our Peccary Gloves for example. The Production Price is 78,95€.
Wholesale Price: 78,95€ x 2 = 157,90€
Traditional Retail Price: 157,90€ x 2,2 = 345,00€
Dalgado Price: 78,05 x 2,97 = 235,00€
We cut out the middle man, sell directly to you and pass the savings on to you. Our average mark-up is 3 times.
Why is transparency so important to you?
The fashion industry is notoriously opaque and deceiving. As a consumer you get hardly any reliable information on the actual origin of the materials and manufacturing conditions. We firmly believe the industry is fundamentally flawed. You have every right to know exactly what you are buying. That is why we reveal exactly where our products are made, what they are made of, and what they cost.
What does climate positive & plastic positive mean?
There is only one Earth and it is our responsibility to take care of it. Yet, regardless of how environmentally-friendly our materials and production processes are, every product has an ecological footprint. We do everything in our power to make sure it’s a positive one. For every single order, we plant one tree with our partner On A Mission and remove 1kg of plastic from our beloved Oceans with our partner Empower.
Being climate positive means that we as a Company go beyond achieving net zero carbon emissions and actually create an environmental benefit by removing additional carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Being plastic positive means that we as a Company remove more plastic from the oceans than is created during our entire production.
