About the manufactory
Our Buckle Manufactory from Brescia has been on the forefront of innovative and sustainable buckle technologies since 1972. Fully committed to protecting the "Made in Italy" hallmark, the entire production cycle, from the initial project stage to the finishing touches, takes place entirely in Italy. Long-standing tradition and new technology go hand in hand resulting in some of the highest-quality buckles in the industry. Thanks to their 160 kW photovoltaic system, the manufactory manages to save 42.000 litres of petroleum avoiding greenhouse gas emission.
How we found the manufactory
For this great find, we luckily didn't have to do much research. The owner of our Braided Belt Manufactory has been working with this Buckle Factory for decades and recommended us to visit them in Brescia. So we did and have been working with them ever since. We are extremely happy to be working with such a distinguished company.
Sustainability
Most belt buckles are produced of cheap Zamac. In contrast, all of our buckles are created of 8 times more expensive solid brass from Italy. The steep price for solid brass is justified by its superior durable. Solid brass buckles will look better for much longer meaning you won’t need to replace the buckle or the whole belt nearly as often. That is perfectly in line with our ideal of Slow Fashion. In addition to that, our Belt Buckle Manufactory II has invested in an expensive 160 kW photovoltaic system which allows the Manufactory to save 42.000 liters of petroleum avoiding greenhouse gas emissions.
Where the buckles are used
The buckles created by our Belt Buckle Manufactory II are used by our Braided Belt Manufactory and Hand-Braided Belt Manufactory. The buckles add the finishing touch to our braided belts.
