Additional notes:
- Wear the type of pants you plan to wear with the belt, as the thickness of the pants material can affect your hip size.
- If you don't have a flexible tape measure handy, thread a cord, cable, or ribbon through your belt loops, mark the point where it goes exactly once around your hips, and measure the distance with a regular tape measure.
- The pin should ideally fit through the center hole to ensure there's neither too much nor too little belt. The length from the center hole to the belt tip is 15 cm (total belt length = belt size + 15 cm; example: belt size 95 = total belt length 110).

From the raw materials to the finished belt, every single production step takes place in Italy. Skilled belt makers' many years of experience are required to create the hand-braided leather strap that gives the belt its distinctive, timeless look. The full-grain calfskin, vegetable-tanned in France, retains its natural grain and will develop a beautiful patina over time. The braided pattern allows the belt to be tied where it fits best, guaranteeing ultimate comfort.

OUR MANUFACTORY FOR HAND-BRAIDED BELTS

"Made in" labels are unfortunately a gross oversimplification. For a product to be legally labeled, for example, "Made in Italy," it is sufficient if the final essential production step takes place in Italy. The term "essential" is often stretched to the limit. Many brands, including many luxury brands, exploit this loophole and have their products manufactured in low-wage countries in Eastern Europe and the Far East before they are "finished" in Italy. Unfortunately, as a customer, you are usually unaware of this. To us, that is not only completely wrong, but also unacceptable. That is why all of our products are proudly crafted in family-owned workshops in Italy, Germany and Portugal where all artisans are treated with the respect they deserve.

The traditional handicraft of hand-braiding belts is a nearly lost art. There are only very few belt makers left in the world with the necessary know-how to create them. We are very honored to have the chance to work with such an esteemed manufactory which produces some of the most beautiful belts on the market.

Sustainable vegetable-tanned leather

Leather is the main component of our hand-woven belts. That's why we never compromise on leather quality. The environmentally friendly vegetable tanning process makes the beautiful French calfskin particularly strong and durable. Over time, it will develop a beautiful natural patina.

Timeless design

Braided calfskin belts have enjoyed great popularity for decades due to their timeless elegance. Equipped with a simple brass buckle, the 3.0 cm wide belt transforms into a versatile accessory that can be easily combined with formal or casual attire.

60 years of experience

It takes the collaboration of four belt makers and 12 work steps to create one of our hand-woven belts. The combination of 60 years of experience and superior materials guarantees the exceptional durability and elegant appearance of our belts.

For every single order, we plant a tree with our partner On A Mission and remove 80 plastic bottles from our beloved oceans with our partner Empower. We are very proud to be a climate- and plastic-positive company. Every product has an ecological footprint. We do everything in our power to ensure it's a positive one.

Traditional retail brands mark-up their prices by 5-6 times. Luxury brands mark-up their prices by staggering 10-15 times. To us, that is unjustifiable.
