About the Manufactory
Our classic belt buckle factory was the brainchild of Aristide, a renowned goldsmith who lived in the Porta Ticinese area when it was still a place rich in craftsmanship and culture. He founded the factory in 1975, and it has since been considered one of the finest in the industry. To guarantee the high quality of our brass buckles, no step is left to chance: the development of innovative tools for improved manufacturing precision, the sourcing of raw materials, the planning and execution of production, and strict quality controls are all carried out in-house under the supervision of experienced artisans. With a focus on handcrafted accessories, the factory has continually added the latest technology to stay one step ahead of the competition.
How we found the manufactory
As in most industries, people who share the same values and dedication to quality know one another. That is how the owner of our classic belt workshop knew the buckle workshop and highly recommended them to us. We know we can always trust his judgment, so we traveled to Milan. Michela, Aristide's daughter and the current owner, was not only incredibly friendly but also passionate about producing buckles of the highest quality. We were immediately impressed.
Sustainability
Most belt buckles are produced from cheap zamak. In contrast, all of our buckles are crafted from solid Italian brass, which is eight times more expensive. The high price of solid brass pays off due to its superior durability. Solid brass buckles look good for much longer, which means you don't have to replace the buckle or the entire belt as often. This is entirely in line with our ideal of slow fashion. In addition, the buckles are finished with a fine palladium layer to further increase their durability. Our buckle manufacturer I sources all materials from local suppliers to minimize transport emissions.
What the buckles are used for
The buckles manufactured by our Belt Buckle Manufactory I are used by our Classic Belt Manufactory. These buckles add the finishing touch to our classic belts.
