About the Manufactory
Our classic belt buckle factory was the brainchild of Aristide, a renowned goldsmith who lived in the Porta Ticinese area when it was still a place rich in craftsmanship and culture. He founded the factory in 1975, and it has since been considered one of the finest in the industry. To guarantee the high quality of our brass buckles, no step is left to chance: the development of innovative tools for improved manufacturing precision, the sourcing of raw materials, the planning and execution of production, and strict quality controls are all carried out in-house under the supervision of experienced artisans. With a focus on handcrafted accessories, the factory has continually added the latest technology to stay one step ahead of the competition.

Wie in den meisten Branchen kennen sich Menschen, die die gleichen Werte und Hingabe zu Qualität teilen. So kannte der Besitzer unserer Klassischen Gürtel Manufaktur die Schnallen Manufaktur und hat sie uns wärmstens empfohlen. Wir wissen, dass wir seinem Urteil immer vertrauen können und sind nach Mailand gereist. Michela, Aristide's Tochter und jetzige Besitzerin, war nicht nur wahnsinnig freundlich, sondern auch passioniert, Schnallen bester Qualität herzustellen. Wir waren sofort begeistert.
Nachhaltigkeit
Die meisten Gürtelschnallen werden aus billigem Zamak produziert. Im Gegensatz dazu werden alle unsere Schnallen aus 8-mal teurerem solidem Messing aus Italien gefertigt. Der hohe Preis für massives Messing zahlt sich durch seine überlegene Langlebigkeit aus. Schnallen aus solidem Messing sehen viel länger gut aus, was bedeutet, dass man die Schnalle oder den ganzen Gürtel nicht so oft ersetzen muss. Das ist ganz im Sinne unseres Ideals von Slow Fashion. Zusätzlich werden die Schnallen mit einer edlen Palladiumschicht versehen, um ihre Haltbarkeit noch weiter zu erhöhen. Unsere Schnallenmanufaktur I bezieht alle Materialien von lokalen Lieferanten, um Transportemissionen zu minimieren.
