About the manufactory
The history of our scarf & beanie manufactory goes all the way back to 1922 when a Genoese family started knitting high-quality yarns. Over time, demand for their exceptional yarns grew and the family business expanded. Several years later, the family decided to use their know-how of yarn knitting and apply it to the creation of premium cashmere scarves and beanies. Operating in its third generation today, the Manufactory has built an exceptional reputation as one of the world’s leaders in the creation of cashmere accessories.
How we found the manufactory
When we came up with the idea of adding scarves and hats to our collection, we knew immediately that we would settle for nothing less than the very best quality. That is why we wanted to combine the finest Mongolian cashmere with Italian craftsmanship. It took a long time to find an Italian manufacturer capable of perfectly refining the raw cashmere and crafting it into beautiful scarves and hats. We finally found what we were looking for in a small workshop in Genoa.
Sustainability
Cashmere is an incredible material that is only minimally processed so that it retains its natural properties. However, the demand for cheap cashmere has led to the degradation of grasslands in many parts of Mongolia due to overgrazing. That is why it was important to us that the raw material for the production of our knitwear comes from small Mongolian farms where the Capra Hircus Laniger are not only sheared in an animal-friendly manner, but where the farms also work in harmony with nature. Once the cashmere arrives in Italy, everything is finished on-site to minimize transport routes. The greatest sustainable aspect of the scarves and hats, however, is their longevity. With proper care, they will last a lifetime.

Materials Used for Our Scarves & Beanies
The raw cashmere comes from Inner and Outer Mongolia from the Capra Hircus Laniger. This particular kind of cashmere is considered to be the finest in the world due to the local climate. It is far superior to other cashmere in terms of softness, warmth, longevity, and pilling. The raw cashmere is washed and refined in Italy.

Cashmere
"Our scarves are very sustainable in the sense that they will last a lifetime."
