Know what you are buying

The fashion industry is notoriously opaque and deceiving. As a consumer you get hardly any reliable information on the actual origin of the materials and manufacturing conditions. To us, that is fundamentally wrong. You have every right to know exactly what you are buying. That is the only way to make better purchasing decisions.

OUR SNEAKER MANUFACTORY
Porto, Portugal

"Made in" labels are unfortunately a gross oversimplification. For a product to be legally labeled, for example, "Made in Italy," it is sufficient if the final essential production step takes place in Italy. The term "essential" is often stretched to the limit. Many brands, including many luxury brands, exploit this loophole and have their products manufactured in low-wage countries in Eastern Europe and the Far East before they are "finished" in Italy. Unfortunately, as a customer, you are usually unaware of this. To us, that is not only completely wrong, but also unacceptable. That is why all of our products are proudly crafted in family-owned workshops in Italy, Germany and Portugal where all artisans are treated with the respect they deserve.

The production of premium sneakers has been a family passion for our Sneaker Manufactory for decades. Located in Portugal’s Sneaker hub, the Manufactory has been crafting premium-quality footwear for many of the top luxury brands since 1988. The vast know-how combined with modern technology ensures the refined look, enhanced durability and supreme comfort of our sneakers.

PREISMATRIX

We all know that fashion brands heavily mark-up their prices. But do we really know by how much? We certainly didn't and what we found out shocked us. Traditional retail brands mark-up their prices by 5-6 times. Luxury brands mark-up their prices by staggering 10-15 times. To us, that is unjustifiable. We cut out the middle man, sell directly to you and pass the savings on to you. Our average mark-up is 3 times and we reveal our exact production costs. You deserve to know.

Sustainable Italian suede

Leather is the main component of our sneakers. That's why we make no compromises when it comes to leather quality. Our Italian suede has been awarded the Gold Seal of Quality by the LWG and is the world's first USDA-certified bio-based leather. The raw hides are a byproduct of the meat industry and are tanned in compliance with the strict REACH regulations.

A true classic

The sneakers were designed with the goal of creating the ultimate minimalist sneaker. We removed all unnecessary seams and eye-catching branding to create an ultra-clean silhouette that draws attention to the premium Italian leather and will never go out of style.

Portuguese craftsmanship

It takes the collaboration of 37 shoemakers and 52 production steps to create a single pair of our sneakers. The extensive expertise of our Portuguese factory and the high-quality materials ensure the exceptional durability and sophisticated appearance of our sneakers.

Climate and plastic positive

For every single order, we plant a tree with our partner On A Mission and remove 80 plastic bottles from our beloved oceans with our partner Empower. We are very proud to be a climate- and plastic-positive company. Every product has an ecological footprint. We do everything in our power to ensure it's a positive one.
