The gloves should fit snugly at first, as they will stretch over time and adapt to the shape of your hand. When you put the gloves on for the first time, bend your fingers slightly upwards. If a small crease appears at the knuckles, the glove size is correct. If no crease appears, the gloves are too big. If you have trouble putting the gloves on or your finger mobility is restricted, the gloves are too small.

How to find the right size

  • Step 1.Measure your larger hand (usually your writing hand) at its widest point, without the thumb, using a flexible measuring tape. That is your hand circumference.
  • Step 2.Check our size table to see which glove size matches your hand circumference.
Measuring your hand circumference

Additional information

– If you don’t have a flexible measuring tape, simply use a string or a cable, measure your hand circumference as described above and use a ruler or folding rule to determine your hand circumference.
– Make sure the tape is not too tight around your hand, as the gloves could otherwise turn out too small.
– The other dimensions of your hand are usually proportional to your hand circumference.
– If your hand circumference falls between two sizes, we recommend rounding down to the next half or full size, as the leather stretches over time.

With the relentless advance of mechanization, the demanding profession of glove making is becoming increasingly rare. However, the quality and comfort of handmade gloves remains unparalleled. That's why each of our gloves is handcrafted in Naples by experienced glove makers in a fourth-generation family business. Stitch by stitch, the glove evolves into a true gem of Italian craftsmanship. The adjustable closure allows for a tighter fit. With its fine grain, the deerskin combines elegance and sportiness. The lining is made of fine Mongolian cashmere, which will keep your hands warm even on the coldest winter days.

Know what you are buying

The fashion industry is notoriously opaque and deceiving. As a consumer you get hardly any reliable information on the actual origin of the materials and manufacturing conditions. To us, that is fundamentally wrong. You have every right to know exactly what you are buying. That is the only way to make better purchasing decisions.

OUR GLOVE MANUFACTORY
Naples, Italy

"Made in" labels are unfortunately a gross oversimplification. For a product to be legally labeled, for example, "Made in Italy," it is sufficient if the final essential production step takes place in Italy. The term "essential" is often stretched to the limit. Many brands, including many luxury brands, exploit this loophole and have their products manufactured in low-wage countries in Eastern Europe and the Far East before they are "finished" in Italy. Unfortunately, as a customer, you are usually unaware of this. To us, that is not only completely wrong, but also unacceptable. That is why all of our products are proudly crafted in family-owned workshops in Italy, Germany and Portugal where all artisans are treated with the respect they deserve.

The traditional handicraft of glove-making is a nearly lost art and there are only very few master glove makers left in the world. We are very honored to be working with one of the most revered glove master families in the world. They have been crafting beautiful gloves for many luxury brands since the middle of the 19th century and their quality is absolutely superb.

TRACEABILITY

The fashion industry is notoriously opaque and deceiving. As a consumer you get hardly any reliable information on the actual origin of the materials and manufacturing conditions. To us, that is fundamentally wrong. You have every right to know exactly what you are buying. That is the only way to make better purchasing decisions.

  • Origin of raw material: Byproduct of the US meat and hunting industry
  • Tanning method: Mineral
  • Tannery: Secret
  • Location: USA
  • Certification: REACH

The northern part of the USA is overpopulated with deer, and all of our deer leather is a byproduct of the American meat and hunting industries. The hides are tanned right here in the USA and are among the highest quality deer leather in the world. Any irregularities in the grain pattern are a testament to the leather's authenticity. We know the name of the American tannery, but our glove manufacturer has asked us to keep this information confidential, so we are not disclosing it here.

  • Origin of the material: Mongolia
  • Factory: Secret

The incredibly soft lining is made from 100% pure Mongolian cashmere, considered the highest quality cashmere in the world. The raw cashmere fibers are brought to Italy, where they are cleaned, dyed, and milled. We know the name of the Italian factory that produces our lining, but our glove manufacturer has asked us to keep this information confidential, so we are not disclosing it at this time.

PREISMATRIX

We all know that fashion brands heavily mark-up their prices. But do we really know by how much? We certainly didn't and what we found out shocked us. Traditional retail brands mark-up their prices by 5-6 times. Luxury brands mark-up their prices by staggering 10-15 times. To us, that is unjustifiable. We cut out the middle man, sell directly to you and pass the savings on to you. Our average mark-up is 3 times and we reveal our exact production costs. You deserve to know.

High-quality deerskin

Only very special leathers are suitable for high-quality leather gloves, as the requirements are extremely high. They must be thin and flexible, yet warm and durable. Deerskin is one of these rare leathers. It is incredibly supple yet strong; the perfect combination for high-quality gloves. With proper care, the gloves will last for many years—perhaps even for generations.

Sporty elegance

With its refined grain, deerskin combines elegance with sportiness, making it a particularly popular leather for gloves. Combined with three classic decorative stitching on the back of the hand, our deerskin gloves become a versatile accessory that can be easily worn with both formal and casual attire.

160 years of experience

The production of a single pair of our cashmere-lined deerskin gloves is extremely laborious and complex. It requires the collaboration of 15 master glove makers and seamstresses, 18 individual production steps, and over 2,000 stitches to transform the raw materials into a finished pair of gloves; a true gem of Italian craftsmanship.

Climate and plastic positive

For every single order, we plant a tree with our partner On A Mission and remove 80 plastic bottles from our beloved oceans with our partner Empower. We are very proud to be a climate-positive and plastic-positive company. All of our gloves are packaged completely plastic-free in a sleek black glove box made of FSC-certified paper from Italy. Every product has an ecological footprint. We do everything in our power to ensure it's a positive one.
