The gloves should fit snugly at first, as they will expand over time and conform to the shape of your hand. When putting the gloves on for the first time, bend your fingers slightly upward. If there is a small crease at the knuckles, the gloves are the correct size. If there is no crease, the gloves are too big. If you have trouble putting the gloves on or if your fingers have limited mobility, the gloves are too small.

Alongside the ever-increasing mechanization, the challenging job of a professional glove maker has become increasingly rare. Yet, the quality and wearing comfort associated with a pair of handmade gloves remains inimitable. That is why each one of our gloves is crafted by master glove makers in Naples, Italy. Stitch by stich, the gloves turn into a true gem of Italian handicraft. With its subtle grain pattern, deerskin beautifully combines elegance and sportiness. The touch screen compatible lambskin palm side combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. The lining is made of incredibly fine Mongolian cashmere which will keep your hands warm even during the coldest winter days.

Know what you are buying

The fashion industry is notoriously opaque and deceiving. As a consumer you get hardly any reliable information on the actual origin of the materials and manufacturing conditions. To us, that is fundamentally wrong. You have every right to know exactly what you are buying. That is the only way to make better purchasing decisions.

OUR GLOVE MANUFACTORY
Naples, Italy

"Made in" labels are unfortunately a gross oversimplification. For a product to be legally labeled, for example, "Made in Italy," it is sufficient if the final essential production step takes place in Italy. The term "essential" is often stretched to the limit. Many brands, including many luxury brands, exploit this loophole and have their products manufactured in low-wage countries in Eastern Europe and the Far East before they are "finished" in Italy. Unfortunately, as a customer, you are usually unaware of this. To us, that is not only completely wrong, but also unacceptable. That is why all of our products are proudly crafted in family-owned workshops in Italy, Germany and Portugal where all artisans are treated with the respect they deserve.

The traditional handicraft of glove-making is a nearly lost art and there are only very few master glove makers left in the world. We are very honored to be working with one of the most revered glove master families in the world. They have been crafting beautiful gloves for many luxury brands since the middle of the 19th century and their quality is absolutely superb.

TRACEABILITY

The fashion industry is notoriously opaque and deceiving. As a consumer you get hardly any reliable information on the actual origin of the materials and manufacturing conditions. To us, that is fundamentally wrong. You have every right to know exactly what you are buying. That is the only way to make better purchasing decisions.

Premium Deerskin

  • Material: Genuine Deerskin
  • Origin of material: Side product of US meat and hunting industry
  • Tanning method: Mineral
  • Tannery: Undisclosed
  • Location: USA
  • Certificates: REACH

Deer is overpopulated in the northern part of the USA and all of our deerskins are the side product of the American meat and hunting industry. The hides are directly tanned in the US and are considered amongst the highest quality deer leathers in the world. The eventual irregularities of the grain pattern give evidence to the authenticity of the leather. We know the name of the American Tannery but our Glove Manufactory asked us to keep the information a secret which is why we are not disclosing it at this point.

Soft Mongolian Cashmere Lining

  • Material: 100% pure cashmere
  • Origin of material: Mongolia
  • Factory: Undisclosed
  • Location: Italy

The incredibly soft lining is made of 100% pure Mongolian cashmere which is considered the finest cashmere in the world. The raw cashmere fibres are brought to Italy where they are purified, dyed, and milled. We know the name of the Italian Factory creating our lining but our Glove Manufactory asked us to keep the information a secret which is why we are not disclosing it at this point.

Strong Cotton Stitching Thread

  • Material: Cotton
  • Origin of material: Unknown
  • Factory: Unknown
  • Location: Italy

The stitching yarn consists of soft yet strong natural cotton and is made in Italy. Unfortunately, we don't yet know the origin of the material and the Factory name creating the yarn but we are working on it and will continually update our traceability information.

PREISMATRIX

We all know that fashion brands heavily mark-up their prices. But do we really know by how much? We certainly didn't and what we found out shocked us. Traditional retail brands mark-up their prices by 5-6 times. Luxury brands mark-up their prices by staggering 10-15 times. To us, that is unjustifiable. We cut out the middle man, sell directly to you and pass the savings on to you. Our average mark-up is 3 times and we reveal our exact production costs. You deserve to know.

Premium Deerskin

Only very special leathers are suitable for dress gloves as the requirements are very stringent. They need to be thin and flexible yet warm and durable. Deerskin is one of those rare leathers. It is incredibly supple yet durable; the perfect combination for dress gloves. With proper care, the gloves will last for many years to come; maybe even for generations.

Sporty Elegance

With its exquisite grain pattern, deerskin combines elegance and sportiness making it a particularly popular leather for gloves. In combination with handsewn stitching and 3 decorative points on the backside our deerskin gloves turn into a versatile accessory which effortlessly bridges the gap between more formal and casual attires.

160 Years Experience

The process of crafting a single pair of our cashmere-lined deerskin gloves is extremely intricate and complex. It takes the collaboration of 15 master glove makers and seamstresses, 18 individual production steps, and over 2,000 stitches to turn the raw materials into a finished pair of gloves; a true gem of Italian handicraft.

Climate and Plastic Positive

For every single order, we plant one tree with our partner On A Mission and remove 80 plastic bottles from our beloved Oceans with our partner Empower. We are very proud to be a climate-positive and plastic-positive Company. All of our gloves are packaged completely plastic-free in a beautiful black glove box made of FSC certified paper. Every product has a footprint. We do everything in our power to make sure it’s a positive one.
